F1 Grand Prix of Korea - Race

Pit boards in F1 are the oldest and most reliable form of communication between teams and their drivers, used to communicate with a driver quickly to give them information about their race status. Such as the number of laps remaining, position, and the delta between them and other drivers.

Despite the more advanced forms of communication that F1 teams use today, pit boards still feature. Teams will always ensure that they have pit boards at the ready on their pit wall; they are fail-safe backup should the communication system go down.
