2019 Numbers shown above

Numbers are used to identify the team, car and driver. Since 2014, drivers have been able to select their numbers – from 0.2 to 99. They are typically formatted in font, style and colours to match the driver’s own brand.

The only restrictions are that there can not be duplicates, with current drivers, and ‘No 1’ is only available to the current world champion

Drivers may keep their number for up to 2 years if not racing, and then it becomes available to new drivers.
