Andreas Nikolaus “Niki” Lauda was an Austrian Formula One driver and a three-time F1 World Drivers title holder.

Niki suffered serious burns in a racing accident in 1976 at the Nürburgring and famously returned to racing after six weeks with his burns still heavily bandaged.

He died in 2019 following complications from a lung transplant.
