Home Race Advantage

Home Race Advantage : Red Bull Racing

It is generally considered that there is an advantage to driving at your home track, from greater track knowledge to less travelling as well as the hype of the event and the energy of the fans

Some will argue that it is a given from a psychological perspective but is there a real-time advantage. Nigel Mansel is quoted as saying it was worth a second a lap in his day.
