Fuel Load
Fuel Load : autosport.com

Fuel Load – F1 cars have a minimum weight of 796kgs (down by 2kg from 2022 season) including the driver, but excluding the fuel. A full tank weighs around 110kgs, so roughly 13% of the car’s starting weight

During practice sessions, teams run a series of scenarios including high and low fuel loads. This helps the strategists understand how the car will perform as the race progresses and the weight of the car reduces.

Heavier cars are harder on the tyres and the cars’ speed increases as the fuel loads reduce.
