Racing line : racedepartment.com

The racing line is the line a racing driver follows to take corners in the fastest possible way. By using the full width of the track, cars can derive the straightest possible line, maximising sepeed and pushing the limits of grip.

The skill of the driver is to follow the exact same line, within millimeter tollerances, lap after lap after lap. This becomes the clean part of the track with marbles collection either side throughout the race.

Due to their high levels of downforce, an F1 cars racing line will differ from those of different classes racing on the same track in the same conditions.
