The direction of the track.

Anti-clockwise – Given that the track is a loop, the cars race in ‘circles’, with most tracks running clockwise. However, some tracks run anti-clockwise for no reason other than that is the way they have been designed.

The track’s direction affects the cars’ setup, with clockwise tracks putting more energy into the front right wheel and, therefore, anti-clockwise circuits loading up the front left.

Las Vegas is the newest anti-clockwise circuit with the cars speeding south down the strip at speed over 300kph.
