Fernando Alonso

Fernando Alonso (No 14) is a Spanish-born F1 driver contracted to Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F1 Team.

He has two’ World Drivers’ Championships to his name, having won in 2005 and 2006 with Renault, and. Alonso’s F1 career kicked off in 2001 with Minardi. He has also driven for McLaren,  and Ferrari.

Alonso retired from F1 at the end of the 2018 season when he went on to win the Daytona 24 Hour and unsuccessfully challenged Indy Cars Indianapolis 500. 

In 2021 he returned to F1 with Alpine and switched to Aston Martin for the 2023 season.
