Nico Hulkenberg (No 27) is a German-born F1 driver contracted to Haas for the 2023 season.

Hulkenburg followed the usual career path starting in karts and achieving notable success in the lower formulas. He secured a seat with Williams to contest the 20210 season and despite some great results, he was not able to hold onto it. he moved to Force Inda for the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Then a year with Sauber before returning to Force India in 2014 and through to 2016. Over this period, Hulkenburg added a Le Mans 24-Hour cup to his trophy cabinet.

2017 presented the opportunity to join Renault, a manufacturing team where he put in three solid years before being dropped in favour of Esteban Ocon

Hulkenburg was called in as a “Super Sub” for Racing Point’s Sergio Perez, who was ruled out of two Silverstone races due to Covid. He then replaced Sebastian Vettel in the Aston Martin for the opening two races of 2022. With no full-time seat for three years, Hulkenberg has shown his mettle by matching his teammate in the 2023 Haas VF-23.

He is yet to achieve that elusive podium…
