Unveiled in McLarens pit box ahead of the 2022 Melbourne Grand Prix, this life-size replica of the MCL36 features all the details of the real car. The build by Ryan ‘Brickman’ McNaught features moving pistons, locking differential and a fully detailed steering wheel that turns the wheels. And… Daniel Ricciardo was able to climb in.

The project consumed 288,315 individual pieces and 1893 hours. Just like Brickman, are building our project from the ground up – one word at a time… is an interactive membership based website for new F1 fans and anyone curious about F1. Our content is deliberately concise, low-tech and intended as an introduction. Wherever possible, we provide links to more information so you can dig as deep as your heart desires.

We’ll be live through the build and aiming for an official launch at the start of the 2023 season.
